A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a K-12 school setting in Buffalo, NY. This contract role offers an opportunity to provide direct speech and language services to students in an engaging and supportive educational environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Use evidence-based practices to support students with communication disorders
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary efforts for student success
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably in school settings
- Knowledge of teletherapy service delivery is a plus
- Eligibility to work in a school environment and familiarity with school-based regulations
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
