A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatrics to support early childhood education in Irvington, NJ. The assignment focuses on delivering targeted speech therapy services to a group of young learners in a Pre-K setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech-language therapy to approximately 13 students aged 2 to 4 years old
- Assess, develop, and implement effective treatment plans aligned with developmental goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to enhance communication outcomes
- Document progress and maintain compliance with applicable policies and regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Pediatric experience, preferably in early childhood or school-based settings
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Licensure or eligibility to work within state regulations for speech-language pathology
