Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Buchanan, GA
A travel opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in K-5th grade within a school setting in Buchanan, GA. This role involves providing speech and language support to approximately 70-75 students, four days per week (Tuesday through Friday). Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 5th grade.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school environments with children from kindergarten through 5th grade.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
