Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school setting (K-12th grade) is highly valued
  • Comprehensive understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy for students with a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and documentation
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough records of evaluations, progress notes, and other required documentation
  • Adapt therapy strategies to meet the diverse needs of students across grade levels
