About the Opportunity:
A vibrant public elementary school in Brunswick, Maine (04011) is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct services and support for students in grades PreK through 5. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a creative, collaborative school environment in one of Maine’s most charming towns—just 30 minutes north of Portland and minutes from the coast.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations for students referred through general education and special education pathways

Develop and implement individualized IEPs based on student needs
-
Provide direct and consultative services to students with a variety of communication challenges (articulation, language, fluency, AAC, etc.)

Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and families
-
Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and RTI/MTSS processes
-
Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and student progress
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Current or eligible Maine SLP license
-
Maine Department of Education certification (Speech-Language Clinician, 293 endorsement)
-
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFs encouraged to apply (supervision available)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
