School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Longmont, Colorado
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Longmont, CO, serving a K-8 student caseload in a school setting. This contract role runs from August 13th, 2026, through May 20th, 2027, with on-site work required Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling 32 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech-language evaluations and individualized therapy to students from kindergarten through eighth grade.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored intervention plans.
- Documenting student progress and maintaining detailed caseload records in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Utilizing best practices to support communication development and address speech and language disorders within the school environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license is required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally within K-8 settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology assessments, treatment protocols, and educational regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
