School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Staten Island, New York
An excellent opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in an elementary school setting located in Staten Island, NY. This position focuses on serving students from Pre-K through 8th grade, with a caseload ranging from 20 to 35 students. The contract runs from ASAP start through June 12, 2025.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments for students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Providing supervision and support as required
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience or interest in working within a school environment
- Open to new graduates; on-site supervision will be provided
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Schedule and location details:
- Full-time contract position (37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week)
- One school site in Staten Island, NY
