Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, focusing mainly on early elementary grades (JK-4).
- Support the CI classroom with individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of 8 students.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain accurate records in compliance with district guidelines.
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs within a multi-building school setting.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), including CFY, School, or CCC credentials.
- Experience working in school settings with young children, preferably JK-4.
- Ability to manage caseload across multiple buildings with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse communication needs, including those with cochlear implants.
