Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Brighton, CO
This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech therapy services within a K-8 educational setting in Brighton, CO. This is an onsite, full-time travel position through the academic year from August 13, 2026, to May 20, 2027. The role involves working closely with students to develop and improve communication skills, supporting their academic success and social interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-8 based on individual education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to assess student needs and monitor progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development and review of IEPs.
- Ensure compliance with all school and state regulations related to speech therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably within a K-8 setting.
- Strong understanding of educational speech therapy practices and interventions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Location: Brighton, CO (onsite only)
- Schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (32 hours/week)
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break daily
