School Speech Language Pathologist - Bridgewater, New Jersey
A School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide maternity leave coverage for an elementary school serving Pre-K through 8th grade students. This contract position runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, and offers approximately 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:50 AM to 3:05 PM.
Key Qualifications:
- Full state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP); no Clinical Fellows (CFs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be considered
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong ability to assess and treat speech and language disorders in children from Pre-K to 8th grade
- Ability to manage a maternity leave caseload effectively
- Valid state license meeting all educational and clinical certification requirements
Location:
This position is based in Hamburg, New Jersey, specifically at an elementary school within Warren County.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate speech goals into the classroom
- Prepare documentation and maintain compliance with state and school district regulations
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and communicate progress with parents and staff
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
