A full-time, fully licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide maternity leave coverage at an elementary school in Hamburg, NJ. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade with a caseload tailored to these age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs in a school setting
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to support student success
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the developmental levels of Pre-K through 8th-grade students
Qualifications:
- Full state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP); no CFs or SLPAs eligible
- Experience working in school settings preferred, with familiarity serving elementary and middle school populations
- Ability to manage a caseload independently, including assessment, therapy, and documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
Location & Schedule:
- Hamburg, NJ (Warren County)
- 32.5 hours per week; Monday-Friday, 7:50 AM – 3:05 PM
