School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Oxford, New Jersey
A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-time maternity leave coverage position in a Pre-K through 8th-grade elementary school setting. This contract role offers consistent hours Monday through Friday from 7:50 AM to 3:05 PM, with an anticipated assignment duration through May 29, 2026.
Location: Hamburg, NJ (please note the district office is in Oxford, NJ, but this role is based in Hamburg)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations and tailored therapy for Pre-K to 8th-grade students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and compliance with state and district standards
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focusing on speech and language development
Qualifications:
- Full state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP); Clinical Fellowship Candidates (CFs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible
- Experience working in school settings preferred, particularly with a pediatric caseload within Pre-K to 8th grade
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively with strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be available to work 32.5 hours per week (7:50 AM – 3:05 PM, Monday through Friday)
