A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to cover a maternity leave at a middle school located in Stamford, CT. This contract role is expected to start in December and will tentatively last approximately 12 weeks or until the end of the school year. The position is onsite and involves managing a middle school caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and therapy for middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and records in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions as required
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working in a school setting, ideally with middle school-aged students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload effectively

- Stamford, Connecticut (onsite at one middle school)
