School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Toms River, New Jersey
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school in Toms River, NJ. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services during a leave period, ensuring continuity of care and support for students requiring speech therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid certification or licensure to practice as an SLP in a school setting
- Experience working with elementary school children preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Location:
- Elementary school setting in Toms River, New Jersey
