Overview
Rankin County Schools is actively recruiting a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students in elementary grades. The successful candidate will provide speech services across 1–2 schools in the Brandon area and work closely with educators to address articulation, fluency, and receptive/expressive language needs.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for speech and language eligibility

Develop IEP goals in alignment with Mississippi state standards and student-specific needs
-
Deliver evidence-based therapy services in individual and group formats
-
Collaborate with general and special education staff
-
Document services and maintain Medicaid-compliant records
-
Participate in child study teams and RTI processes
-
Provide support in inclusive classrooms when appropriate
Caseload & Support
-
Caseload: ~30–35 students
-
Sites: One primary and one elementary school
-
SLP mentorship and onboarding provided
-
Access to shared therapy kits and online therapy tools
Requirements
-
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Mississippi teaching license (215 endorsement)
-
CCC preferred, but strong CFs encouraged to apply

Experience with school-based caseloads a plus
