A Manageable, Thoughtful Caseload
You’ll work with a manageable number of students (35–40), ensuring you have the time and capacity to provide meaningful services and develop individualized plans that truly support student progress. All students on the caseload present with mild to moderate communication needs, allowing you to implement effective and evidence-based interventions within an achievable scope.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) based on student needs
-
Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
-
Monitor and document student progress using data-driven strategies
-
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, administrators, and parents to support student success

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

Educate and consult with school staff and families on strategies to support speech and language development in the classroom and at home
Qualifications
-
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Active California SLP License (or eligibility to obtain before start date)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Clinical Fellows (CFY) strongly encouraged to apply — full supervision is provided

Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Commitment to ethical, student-centered, and evidence-based practice
