Position Overview:
- Location: Seminole, FL (Middle School Environment)
- Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY)
- Caseload: Approximately 60 students, including a self-contained/cluster program focused on Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD)
- Schedule: Full-time, with a supportive office space environment and options for virtual collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in middle school students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and licensing requirements
- Provide support within a diverse classroom setting, including self-contained programs
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida SLP license or eligibility; Current Family Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be accepted for this role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience or willingness to work with students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders preferred
