Speech Pathology - Riverview, FL
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available at an elementary school serving diverse early childhood and elementary students in Bradenton, FL. This role offers the opportunity to support children in a Title 1 setting, working collaboratively alongside a full-time therapist.
This position runs from January through May 28, 2026, with a commitment of two days per week on-site. The caseload includes approximately 65 students distributed between the full-time and part-time therapists. The student population consists of pre-kindergarten self-contained units—including integrated, ESE, and intensive ESE classrooms—as well as a specialized Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to preschool and elementary-aged students.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and the full-time speech therapist to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and licensing requirements.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support communication development in children with diverse needs.
- Share therapy room space efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida SLP license.
- Candidates currently in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working within school settings preferred but not required.
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be considered for this role.
