School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Bradenton, FL (School District of Manatee County)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 or Travel Contract Options
Pay Range: $36–$44/hour (based on experience and employment path)
Blazer Jobs is now hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support the School District of Manatee County in Bradenton, FL. This full-time role is open to both local clinicians seeking a stable school-year position and travel professionals interested in short-term contracts with excellent benefits and support.
Position Overview:
You’ll work as a key member of the student support team, serving students from PreK through high school who face a range of speech, language, and communication challenges. Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to help students thrive through direct therapy, evaluations, and IEP development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language services to K–12 students

Conduct evaluations and assessments

Develop and implement IEPs per Florida district guidelines

Collaborate with school teams and parents

Maintain compliance documentation and service records
Requirements:

Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Active Florida SLP License (or eligibility)
-
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; strong CFs considered
-
Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
-
Must pass background and fingerprinting clearance
