Virtual Speech Language Pathologist Position in Bowling Green KY
VocoVision is a leading provider of remote educational services, connecting schools with talented speech-language pathologists who deliver therapy through teletherapy platforms. We're currently seeking experienced SLPs to serve Kentucky students virtually. This role combines the clinical work you love with the flexibility of remote service delivery.
The position involves serving approximately 45 students across elementary and middle school levels. You'll work 36 hours per week providing speech-language therapy addressing a variety of communication disorders. Students typically present with needs in areas such as articulation, language comprehension and expression, voice disorders, stuttering, and social pragmatic skills! The caseload allows for meaningful individualized attention while maintaining manageable administrative demands.
Your clinical responsibilities include completing evaluations using formal assessments and informal measures to determine eligibility and develop appropriate IEP goals; Planning and implementing therapy sessions that incorporate evidence-based practices and engaging activities tailored to each student's needs and learning style; Collecting ongoing data to monitor progress and demonstrate growth toward IEP objectives.
Collaboration and communication are essential - work closely with teachers to support generalization of skills in classroom settings; participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and coordinate interventions; maintain regular contact with families through progress updates and strategy sharing; prepare evaluation reports, progress notes and IEP documentation according to timelines.
The virtual format requires comfort with technology and ability to troubleshoot common connectivity issues, you'll use video conferencing software, digital therapy materials, and electronic documentation systems daily. Creating an engaging virtual therapy environment that motivates students and facilitates learning is key to success!
REQUIREMENTS Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders / ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) / Valid Kentucky speech-language pathology license / Minimum two years of experience in school settings / Teletherapy experience preferred / Proficient with technology and virtual platforms / Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
