ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed, compassionate, and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 30-hour per week, onsite position serving students in grades 2 through 8 in Luling, Louisiana for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is ideal for an SLP passionate about supporting communication development in upper elementary and middle school students.
Join a collaborative school team and help students build the speech and language skills they need for academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct speech-language evaluations, screenings, and re-evaluations

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct speech therapy services (individual and group) focusing on:

Articulation and phonological disorders
-
Receptive and expressive language delays
-
Fluency and voice disorders
-
Social/pragmatic language development
-
Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
-
Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements

Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
-
Active Illinois SLP license (or eligibility by start date)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply

Previous experience working with grades 2–8 students preferred

Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
