Hours: Full-time Monday-Friday
Grade Levels: Mixed, 40 students high school + 3rd/4th grades

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district team in Bound Brook, NJ full time for a portion of the 2025 school year. The SLP will support students in grades K–8 through the Child Study Team (CST) evaluation process.
Job Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' communication abilities in accordance with NJDOE code.

Assess speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing mechanisms to identify contributing factors to communication disorders.

Complete timely and compliant written evaluation reports per NJDOE guidelines.

Develop individualized treatment goals based on assessment results, to be incorporated into Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Collaborate with CST members, educators, and families to share results and discuss educational implications.

Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, school staff, and the district’s Director of Special Education (DOSE).

Provide a weekly log of hours and tasks completed for administrative approval.

Perform in-person student evaluations; some remote flexibility available for report writing.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree, SLP License
-
Active New Jersey SLP license and NJDOE Speech-Language Specialist certification

Experience with mixed student populations and school-based assessments
-
Strong oral and written communication skills
-
Demonstrated professionalism (punctuality, meeting deadlines, and prompt email communication)

Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
