Schedule: 3 days per week, 7.5 paid hours per day plus a 0.5 hour unpaid lunch (approximately 24 hours weekly, with some schedule flexibility subject to principal’s approval)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services directly to students on school contact days during the first semester.
- Collaborate with school personnel to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and communicate with families regarding student development.
- Attend required training sessions from August 4 to August 7 prior to the start of student contact.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required.
- Valid state licensure or educational certification in speech-language pathology is mandatory.
- Prior experience working within school-based settings, including classroom experience, is essential.
- Ability to engage positively with students and educational staff.
