A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available supporting K-12 students within a public school setting in Boulder City, NV. This contract position runs through the end of the current school year, providing hands-on experience with diverse caseloads across multiple school sites. As an on-site role, remote or hybrid work options are not available.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Monitoring student progress and documenting therapy outcomes
- Participating in team meetings and providing consultation on communication strategies
Qualifications for this role require:
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Nevada Department of Education Certification
- Valid Nevada Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Preference given to candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently in their Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Ability to work full-time with an on-site presence; part-time and virtual arrangements are not accepted
