A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with an active Massachusetts license, specializing in school settings. This role focuses on serving high school students, managing a moderate caseload of approximately 42 students. The position requires strong expertise in assessments, evaluations, and active participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.

Location: Boston, MA
Contract Duration: September 8, 2026 – June 20, 2027
Schedule: 21 hours per week, 3 days per week
Age Group: High School students

Qualifications

  • Active SLP or SLPA license in Massachusetts
  • Credentials such as SLP - CCC, SLPA - School, SLP - School, or SLP - CFY preferred
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy, including testing, conducting evaluations, and IEP meetings
  • Ability to manage a moderate caseload effectively

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to high school students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
  • Collaborate with educators and families during IEP meetings to develop tailored treatment plans
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Support students in improving communication skills relevant to academic and social settings
