Speech-Language Pathologist in Boston, MA
A position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an early childhood school setting in Boston, MA. This contract role spans from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY), focusing on a preschool caseload.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification (SLP - School, SLP - CFY, SLP - CCC)
- Experience working in school or early childhood educational environments
- Ability to manage a caseload of preschool-aged children with diverse communication needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills suitable for collaboration with students, families, and educational staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to preschool students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with educational standards
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
- Participate in meetings related to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and student development
