Pediatric School Speech Pathology | Cambridge, Massachusetts
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Cambridge, MA, supporting an elementary caseload within a school setting. This contract role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with 6.5 hours per day, providing a balanced and consistent workweek.
Qualified candidates should hold current certification as an SLP, with experience working in educational environments. Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is essential, as well as demonstrated expertise in delivering services to pediatric populations. Candidates with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion, Teletherapy capabilities, and experience in healthcare settings will be uniquely positioned for success. School-based SLP experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary students.
- Utilize AAC devices to support communication development.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain detailed records.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and provide professional recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
- Experience with AAC devices in a school or pediatric healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus.
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and dedication.
