Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Kansas SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary children
- Commitment to providing both direct therapy and comprehensive evaluations
- Ability to effectively split time between multiple school locations and organize own schedule
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities
- Enthusiasm for evidence-based school practice
Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to students in the elementary age range
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations as needed
- Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and families
- Travel between two school sites, managing and planning your workload independently
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district standards
- Collaborate with teaching staff, support teams, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Advocate for communication needs and assist in IEP processes
