About the Position
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team near Bon Air, VA! This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students from Pre-K through 12th grade, helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve success in the classroom and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student growth.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Virginia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
