Elementary Licensed School Speech and Language Pathologist | Leland, North Carolina
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school serving students from kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract role starts as soon as possible and continues through June 4, 2026. The caseload consists of approximately 45 students, providing an excellent opportunity to support a diverse range of young learners in their communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-5
- Assess and evaluate students to develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and provide input on student goals
Qualifications:
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders affecting school-age children
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
