Speech and Language Pathologist - Boynton Beach, FL
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in multiple school locations across Palm Beach County, Florida, with assignments commencing as soon as possible through May 29, 2026. This contract role involves providing specialized speech-language services to a diverse student population ranging from PreK through high school, including regular education, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), deaf and hard of hearing (DHH), developmental disabilities (InD), and Head Start programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services aligned with individual student IEP goals.
- Manage caseloads that vary by school and student age group.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of individualized educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist license from the Department of Health.
- CCC credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children across various special education categories.
- Ability to work full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours daily) on-site in assigned schools.
- Completion of required fingerprinting and clearance through the Florida AHCA Clearinghouse; prior valid prints may expedite this process.
- Successful completion of an internal prescreening interview and suitability assessment.
Location: Positions are available throughout Palm Beach County with multiple school assignments located in the West Palm Beach area and surrounding communities.
