Speech Pathology - Cullman, AL
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting located in Cullman, AL. This contract position involves working with a diverse caseload consisting of 49 students, many of whom have high needs and are in 5th grade or below, with some high school students included. The role offers a part-time schedule of 3 to 4 days per week, providing flexibility while making a meaningful impact on student development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to the needs of students within a learning center environment
- Manage and monitor a caseload focused on high-needs students across various grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and conduct progress assessments
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote communication skills within the school community
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and professional standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in educational settings with diverse student populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and team members
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
Location and Work Environment:
- Position based onsite in Cullman, Alabama
- Flexibility for hybrid or VOCO arrangements may be considered to accommodate schedules, pending approval
