Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

? Caseload: Middle & High School Students (Grades 7–12)
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Blanding, Utah. This part-time position is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who want to balance professional fulfillment with personal flexibility, working two days a week during the school year.
Position Overview:
As an essential member of the school’s special education team, you will provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades 7 through 12. The caseload includes a wide variety of communication needs such as articulation disorders, language delays, pragmatic/social communication challenges, fluency and voice disorders, and AAC support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized, evidence-based speech and language therapy services aligned with student IEP goals

Conduct thorough speech and language assessments, screenings, and re-evaluations to monitor student progress

Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, administrators, and families to promote student success across academic and social environments

Prepare, maintain, and submit all required documentation, including progress reports and service logs, in a timely manner

Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering professional insight and recommendations to guide student support plans

Assist in training and consulting with school personnel to support communication needs throughout the school day
Qualifications:

Valid Utah license as an SLP or certification as an SLPA

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLPs) or related credential for SLPA

Prior experience in school-based settings is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are welcome to apply

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload independently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to team-based care
