Telehealth SLP for Social Communication Disorders West Virginia
We are hiring a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in social communication and pragmatic language disorders for students across West Virginia. This contract position involves delivering virtual therapy that promotes effective social interaction and communication skills critical for academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide teletherapy focused on social communication and pragmatic skills.

Assess social language needs and write detailed reports.

Develop goals that support peer interaction, conversation skills, and social cognition.

Collaborate with school counselors, special educators, and families.

Participate in virtual IEP and behavioral support team meetings.

Use video modeling, role-play, and other virtual strategies.

Track therapy progress and adjust plans accordingly.

Provide coaching for parents and educators.

Ensure compliance with IDEA and FERPA guidelines.

Maintain thorough documentation and secure records.
-
Stay informed on best practices for social communication intervention.

Provide training materials and resources to school teams.

Manage caseload and scheduling independently.
-
Maintain current WV licensure and liability insurance.

Advocate for inclusion and communication accessibility.

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
