A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the Paterson, NJ area, supporting middle to high school students. This role requires a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and offers flexible shift times for the candidate’s preference.
Location: Paterson, NJ
Contract: Part-time, on-site
Shift Options:
- 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Assignment Duration: ASAP through June 26th, 2023 (subject to updates)
Caseload: Middle and High School level students
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid SLP certificate with CCC accreditation
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload focusing on middle to high school age groups
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Providing speech-language evaluations and therapy to assigned students
- Collaborating with educators and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to student progress discussions
