Part-Time School-Based SLP or SLPA

ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Blanding, Utah. ? About the School & Caseload
You’ll be working with a supportive and tight-knit school team serving students in grades 7–12. The school is located in Blanding, a rural community known for its scenic beauty and strong community values. The caseload includes a range of speech-language needs, including:

Articulation and phonological disorders

Language processing and comprehension challenges
-
Pragmatic and social communication issues

Voice and fluency disorders
-
AAC (as needed)
You’ll collaborate with special education teachers, school psychologists, administrators, and families to deliver high-quality, student-centered care.
? Responsibilities
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Complete assessments, evaluations, and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines

Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and team planning sessions
-
Create functional, evidence-based therapy plans that address both academic and social communication goals

Maintain accurate records, session notes, and service logs

Support the generalization of communication skills across school settings
? Requirements

Valid Utah SLP license or SLPA certification
-
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLPs) or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in a related field (for SLPAs)

Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates and SLPAs are welcome to apply

Familiarity with IEP processes, school documentation, and collaborative service delivery

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
