About This Role
This teletherapy position serves elementary and middle school students requiring speech and language support services. Working approximately 35-37.5 hours weekly, you'll deliver therapy sessions, complete evaluations, and manage IEP responsibilities from your home office. The virtual format allows you to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus involves providing direct speech and language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs including articulation disorders, language delays, fluency challenges, and voice disorders. You'll conduct comprehensive assessments to determine eligibility for services and develop appropriate intervention strategies. Regular progress monitoring, data collection, and report writing document student growth and inform instructional decisions. You'll attend virtual IEP meetings, consult with teachers about classroom accommodations, and communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and home practice activities.
Credential Requirements
This position requires an active Ohio Speech Language Pathologist license and current ASHA CCC-SLP certification. Applicants must have earned a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field and completed at least two years of professional experience in educational settings. The virtual nature of this work demands strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and comfort with technology platforms used for teletherapy service delivery.

Success in this remote role requires a dedicated workspace with reliable internet connectivity and minimal distractions. You'll use video conferencing software, digital therapy materials, and online documentation systems.
