Job Requirements:

Valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist license
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
-
Must meet all Alabama Department of Education requirements, including background checks and certification
Job Duties:
-
Serve an elementary school caseload, delivering speech and language therapy to students in grades K–5

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
-
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
-
Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress

Document services and maintain records according to district and state guidelines
