An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to K-12 students in a school setting. This contract position spans the current school year, beginning as soon as possible through June 18th, 2026. The role supports varying age groups within the Binghamton, NY area, with specific work locations to be determined upon hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for students grades K-12.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and provide consultation related to speech-language needs.
Qualifications:
- Active New York State SLP license.
- Active New York State Educator Certification.
- Expertise in providing SLP services in school settings, including knowledge of child development across varying ages.
- Must be able to work onsite at designated school locations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for collaboration with students, staff, and families.
Employment Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Multiple school locations within the Binghamton area (specific assignment will be provided upon hire).
- Contract duration through the 2025/2026 school year.
