Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Cambridge, MA
A school-based position is available for a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide maternity leave coverage in Cambridge, MA. This contract role supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade, including those with severe autism and non-verbal communication challenges. The assignment runs from February through the end of the school year and offers part-time hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) License
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially K–12
- Ability to support students with severe autism and non-verbal students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services tailored to the individual needs of students on caseload
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement therapeutic plans
- Document progress and adjust interventions as needed to support student growth
- Provide maternity leave coverage ensuring continuity of care during the contract period
Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts – servicing a public school setting
Work Schedule:
- Part-time, Monday through Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Contract duration: February start through End of School Year (EOSY)
