SLP in Bethlehem, PA
This position offers an opportunity to deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services within K-12 educational settings and Early Intervention programs across Carbon and Lehigh Counties in Pennsylvania. The role is a full-time contract assignment running from ASAP through approximately June 12, 2026, aligned with the school calendar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on student assessments.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance with IDEA regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
- Engage with Early Intervention programs as part of speech and language service delivery within the community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist License is preferred.
- Must have an active PDE certification in Speech and Language (Ed Sp/Instructional I).
- Proof of current licensure is required before placement.
- Clinical Competency Certificate (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience providing school-based speech and language therapy is highly valued.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to compliance with state and federal regulations.
Location: Positions are based across Carbon and Lehigh Counties, Pennsylvania, requiring service within multiple districts under the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21.
Hours: 35 hours per week following the school calendar.
