Qualifications:
- Required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Previous exposure to school-based SLP roles highly desirable
Location:
Travel assignment in Berrien Springs, Michigan, working onsite at Blossomland Learning Center and Lighthouse Education Center.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 20-25 students
- Support students aged 5-22 with severe autism, cognitive impairments, medical needs, and communication/social skill delays
- Collaborate with educators and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement targeted interventions
- Deliver compensatory speech services potentially during the summer months
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
Schedule:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Tentative End Date: June 2, 2026, with possible summer work
- Hours: 15.5-23.25 hours per week (2-3 days)
- Daily hours: 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM
