A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services in an established public school district in Berkeley, CA. This role focuses on supporting students along the Early Childhood (EC) through transition spectrum, serving diverse caseloads in a dynamic educational environment. This position requires onsite presence, with no remote or virtual work options. Candidates holding state licensure and appropriate speech services credentials are encouraged to apply, including clinical fellows who will receive necessary supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students, addressing needs from early childhood through transition age.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Support diverse student populations, with preference given to candidates fluent in additional languages.
- Engage fully onsite throughout the contract period.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA).
- Clear or professional Speech Services Credential from the California Teacher Credentialing Commission (CTC) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Eligibility to provide services under 5 CCR §3051.1 regulations.
- Experience working in school settings across a broad age range, including Early Childhood to transition programs.
- Clinical Fellows are welcome, with supervision support provided.
- Demonstrated ability to work onsite in Berkeley, CA, with flexibility to serve various school sites.
