A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available with a travel assignment in Bensenville, IL. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to high school students within a school setting. The assignment is scheduled for the remainder of the school year, with consistent hours to support effective student care and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to approximately 45 high school students
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the academic environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning of student-centered interventions
Qualifications:
- Valid and current SLP certification/license to practice in school settings
- Experience working with school-age students, preferably high school level
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapeutic strategies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently within a school environment
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM
- Travel assignment located in Bensenville, IL
- Position covers the remainder of the current school year
