Blazer Jobs is working with school districts across South Carolina to hire qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025–2026 academic year. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who want to make a meaningful impact by helping students overcome speech and language challenges that can affect learning and social development.
Role Overview
As an SLP in a South Carolina school, you’ll be responsible for assessing communication disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy to support student success. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team of educators and specialists focused on helping students thrive in both academic and social settings.
Current job openings are available in districts such as Columbia, Charleston, Greenville, Myrtle Beach, and Spartanburg.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in alignment with South Carolina Department of Education and IDEA standards

Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to IEP goals

Provide direct therapy in individual or group settings based on student needs

Maintain documentation of services and student progress

Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff

Adjust intervention strategies based on performance and updated assessments
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field

South Carolina SLP license or eligibility to obtain one before the school year begins

ASHA certification preferred (CFs welcome to apply)

Familiarity with school-based therapy and special education processes

Must complete all required South Carolina background checks and clearances
