Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Belvidere, Illinois

Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Illinois SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly desirable; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or educational settings preferred
- Teletherapy experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, diagnostic evaluations, and IEP assessments for students with communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Deliver therapy services both on-site and via teletherapy platforms as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide input for IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing staff consultations
