I am planning on prescreening applicants this week for a SLP job opening in Belvidere, IL for the entire school year coming up. This job will be part time to full time (the school would make it full time for the right applicant), working a classic work week of Monday through Friday with students ages K-8th grade. The caseload will involve around 11 hours of direct service (which can be combined in groups if necessary) and the extra time for paperwork and IEP meetings. The students will have a variety of disabilities, requiring a flexible and competent SLP.
The SLP will be expected to intervene proactively to serve a preventative role, assess students, intervene in appropriate moments, design treatment plans, administer therapy, collect and analyze data of progress, and adjust accordingly.
Minimum Requirements:
- PEL with SLP Endorsement
- Ability to interview in person
- MUST be available on Thursdays
- Strong CFYs should still apply
