About VocoVision:
VocoVision is looking for an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our remote team, providing services to K-12 students in Essex, Vermont. As part of our teletherapy platform, you’ll work with students to address speech and language challenges, helping them succeed academically and socially.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments to evaluate students’ communication needs.
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans for articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and social communication.
- Provide engaging remote therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings to ensure students receive the necessary speech services and accommodations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with Vermont’s special education guidelines.
What You Need:
- A valid Vermont Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- At least two years of experience in a school-based setting (teletherapy experience preferred).
- Proficiency with virtual speech therapy tools and online assessment platforms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a professional, quiet workspace.
