Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Belton, Texas
A contract opportunity is available for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students through a comprehensive communication services program. This position involves delivering high-quality speech and language therapy to school-aged children, with a focus on improving their communication skills within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Deliver therapy sessions either in-person or via teletherapy, adapting to the needs of each student.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Participate in meetings and conferences as needed to discuss student outcomes and intervention strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school or healthcare environments.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent.
- Ability to provide services through teletherapy platforms effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a passion for helping children achieve their communication goals.
