Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Bellwood, Illinois
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the current school year at a middle school location in Bellwood, IL. This contract position is ideal for qualified SLP professionals seeking to support students in a school setting with a focus on manageable caseloads and collaborative teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services primarily to middle school students.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students, with some case management responsibilities for students receiving speech/language services only.
- Collaborate with a fellow SLP who will be onsite one day per week to share part of the caseload.
- Deliver services onsite during regular school hours, from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm (approximately 35 hours per week).
- Support students’ communication development through direct therapy and consultative services.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SLP endorsement.
- Experience or credentials aligned with certification in speech-language pathology including CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Background working with pediatric populations, preferably in school or healthcare settings.
- Prior experience managing caseloads in middle school environments is preferred.
- Current credentialing to practice speech-language pathology within the state requirements.

- Middle school setting in Bellwood, Illinois.
- Onsite work required.
